    Thanks guys. The only thing I had readily available without going into town to buy something was brake cleaner and it worked perfect. I did, indeed, end up getting it too dark and needed to take it off. It had a day or two or dry time on it and still softened it up great without affecting the lense plastic.

    I saw VHT Nightshades sitting on the shelf at our local Meijer store tonight for about $7 or $8. Just an FYI in case other Meijer stores carry it.

    I rather do it myself.... cause I wouldnt go crazy.... as long as I have red reflective on the lence Im not in the law's spotlight... why pay 70+ for just a small tint? Its great that companies put this kinda stuff out for the DIY guys.

    tips 2 outa 10 lol
    and wheels, cant really tell if their cool or not
    tinted tails look good tho

    those look good to me
    i did my crownvic tails and f'd them up i guess the clear i had was actually slightly frosted endresult i still need to fix them

    and you dont have to sand to get nite shades off. use goo gone or goo off. and nite shades can be made to look like glass if you take your time and know how to paint. didnt wet sand and the camera is not catching the true gloss. so i guess if you know how to prep you can get great results.



    taillights look better than the paint job.

    a 4 tier wing and tri exhaust on a civic is different too, different is normally a cover up word for terrible...
    F clean cars, I Ride Dirty!.....to hide the wicked body damage...

    well its not my car and dude thought outside the box. you like or you dont. no biggie to me i was just sharing info on niteshades. most think you have to sand it off we found out you can use goo gone and some elbow grease and wet sand again with 2000 grit and start over like they were never tinted. and heres some yellow
