I'm in the market soon for a new set of CCFL projector headlights, and it seems that the only capsules that don't look gay are Sonar lights that were imported by Spyder. I have a set of the first generation lights on my car right now and can't STAND them. Adjustment is a PITA, headlight bounce is horrible (until I bought vinyl tubing from Home Depot), and the original owner had to seal the capsules against water. Any word whether or not Sonar got their act straight and are now making products worth a damn? If anyone bought a set very recently, what'd you think of 'em? Really interested in hearing what yall have to say.

    ebay/spyder/whatever lights will always suck.

get black ebay stock headlights, get yourself projectors and do a retrofit. only way youre getting a proper headlight setup.

mind posting up which tails you got? Did they leak? Do they bounce? Overall, are you happy with the tails?

only issue with these i heard is that either a single or a couple LED's go out after a couple of months.

The lights have not changed in design other than them having CCFL's and the corners now being black on the black versions. Other than that they still have the same issues as the previous design.

I had two sets of spyder lights. One the clear coat started to peel on them after a few months. I lived close to the seller who did the group buy when these first came out and they replaced that set with another. They both had the same shake issues and alignment issues. I ran those for a few months before I went to a set of stock lights that I did my own black headlights with. I still think the stock lights look best on these cars.
