I've been looking at 8000K HID's and W Body Store has them for $50 but I see a lot of theme for $70 to $100. Is it worth the extra money for the more expensive ones or are the W Body ones just as good.
    Thanks!

Hey im new too. The 8k HIDs i have are great and i got em for i think $80 at my local car prats shop. the ones your looking at i dont think are bad just very good on the price. Is the S&H included with that, if not then it may cost more but if not i think your getting a good deal for em. check out the pics and see if they look ok.

Go here and scroll down below the "find your vehicle" thing.
HID Replacement Bulbs : VVME.COM, Tattoo Kit, Xenon HID Kit, DVR Surveillance System & Projector
If your just needing the bulbs and not the ballast...they are not even $50.
    Kits don't even reach $100.

sorta depends on what you want as well. having a kit with a relay harness might not be a bad idea, which costs more.

Personally I think only the ballasts are different from company to company. The bulbs are the same crappy bulbs you will see on Ebay.

The only place I have found good (cheaper) bulbs from is 4caroption.com but you have to call or e-mail them.

I have found that it is cheaper to order on eBay than from VVME directly. They still offer the same services as from ordering directly from VVME.com but the shipping is generall cheaper. Just go on eBay and search for VVME. Thats what I have done in the past.

Bandit, what bulb did you get? I want them for both high and low beam. DDM has 4 different high and low beam options, wich one would I knead?

I have an additional question regarding the VVME HID kit (35W digital ultra slim 5000k 9006 lamps) that may also be of common interest. How do you overcome the DRL issue where they don't want to fire up with your daytime running lights? Will a relay harness kit alone take care of the problem or will it also require a capacitor mod to the harness? I have heard that the DRL voltage is pulsed rather than voltage regulated and will cause a relay to chatter. I don't really want to disable my DRL so unplugging the DRL module isn't my favorite option. I would just like the HID low beams on as my DRLs. Harness is already on the way but I want to be prepared so I'm not going into it twice. Has anyone had any experience with this on a 2007 GP GT or can point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I have a 99, but I'm pretty sure you'll kill the HID's with the DRL functional.
The fuse was already pulled out in my car when I got it, so I never had to worry about it.
But I believe most people just pull the fuse and manually turn lights on when wanted.

Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear.
