Someone say Pontiac emblem on the reverse light bar? Sorry that the quality is starting to suffer.

2008 purchased on Dec. 3, 2011. Sunroof, leather, heated seats, remote start, auto dual climate, K-State Wildcat decal and disco ball hanging from the mirror.

    Soon-to-be mods: tint, iPod interface,

an idea I have is to paint the reflective area inside the reverse light area instead of the outside so that the light output is not so greatly decreased

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.

how much is the light output decreased when you cover it up? might as well just unplug the lights and call it a day if you do that since they are pretty much useless now

If you go with the perforated vinyl it would be little considering it has holes in the vinyl to allow for light to shine thru, or to allow you to see out since its commonly used for windows on full vehicle wraps. In this case it should be far more visible than if you tinted the bar. But like I said, If it was me, I would cover the reverse bar (only need light to shine thru when your backing up, and the white light would shine thru easily) and the 3rd brake light, if its visibility is reduced o well, you have the mains on anyways. The cut outs on these I actually do like, but I would leave it like that, cut out, so its visible when your braking.

Covering up things like brake lights doesn't sit well with me. And by me, I mostly mean cops.

It may not sit well with them, or you, but by law as long as you can see red when the brakes are hit, and it is visible, its not illegal. You just have to have 2 brake lights on either side of the vehicle, unless your rocking an ol' 40s flatbed pickup, they came factory with a single light and no reverse, not illegal to still rock that, but has to be factory optioned lol

Good look getting vinyl over GP tails. That's why no one uses that tint film to tint them...

Be patient, take your time, use heat gun... it works... probably not on tint film tho, vinyl does stretch to form.

But regardless, he said body color, not painted. Even if they're painted body color... they're body color.

To each his/her own. I like subtle accents and I think if you can match the color, body colored reverse bar and 3rd brake light are sexy. Hidden when not used, shown off then they are... Like A BOSS! But thats me... what I like, others may not... but that is why my car is my car

you cant match too much to the body without making the entire car look like one big blob of the same color. you do need accent pieces on the car that are a different color.

You could alway put 3457 bulbs in the reverse bar so they could be a little brighter.

    This looks good to me.
