I could see it working on a car with the SD lip painted all one color.
Actually, it might not be bad, if it wrapped front the wheel well, to where the center area begins, and taper it off...
But it going across the middle section just isnt right.
i think on an 97-03 it could look good, but what throws it off is the actual bumper section under the fog lights isnt flush so there is a bump there that throws off the flow. maybe shave down the plastic right there and make it flush with the middle air dam?
the middle needs to be thicker, so that the lip is the same height from the ground all the way around. material needs to be added in the middle, not taken out on the sides.
ok that was my other choice. so wat do you think should be added material wise? some quarter inch piece of plastic? my thoughts on adding material was that it would be noticeable from the bottom of the actual middle piece to the material added to it..
I personally think the front bumper should be left alone...period.
SD Lip and that thing that guy called a "lip" looked like ass.
Always has, always will.
There is a reason why it came on the Mach 1 from the factory...because it looks good on that car...NOT a Grand Prix.
Bolting up a different type of supercharger to this platform and taking a chance that it may or may not work out is innovation. Dave coming up with new ways to make the 4T65E-HD more reliable is innovation. Someone molding a new scoop into the hood is innovation.
Going to home depot and gorilla-glueing some piece of plastic to the bottom of your bumper, without trying to blend it or paint it, is lazy and RICER.
