So the kick pod is where I rest my foot on long cruises.

Theres two midwoofers which can't end well since this is in the nearfield.

The tweeters are off axis and would be greatly affected by leg position along with the midwoofers in the kicks.

The speakers in the middle are just scary... They can't provide good sound since they're off axis.

Overall, i'll give you loud, but not sound quality.

well I hate to tell you but actually everything is on axis. and seeing how mainly its just me drivin by myself 95% of the time it all sounds great. the only reason they may be off lookin cause they aren't screwed to the floor yet.
there is sound quality trust me, your eyes may deceive you but your ears would be pleased.

and the kickpods arent' in the way at all. I went to school for mobile electronics and audio systems, so I know what im doin.

Well a random project that I decided to do early this year and here is the results thus far. I have to do a slight adjustment to the right side ,it sits lower than the left side, but other than that its getting close to being done. Black leather with red vinyl fabric letters. Not sure if I am going to go to the extent of adding lights behind the letters or not hmmmmm.

The clips will be hidden behind for a smooth finished look.

    Next step is almost done.
My gf's friend is an amazing artist she is drawing everything out for me. So I can cut it out and wrap it. She is finishing the letters tomorrow. Getting there slowly but surely.

Only two more steps to go!
Choose what color fabric and wrap/mount to board.
    Then mount board.

    On to the pictures>>>

This popped up as I was working. My SS steering wheel.

Should be finished by the end of next week as I am taking my LONG time with this!
