After spending countless hours trying to get our Spec-D projector lights to work I finally gave up and tossed them out. These lights look cool but the things are pure garbage quality. The LED halo bulbs burned out all the time, the replacements were all different shades and colors. They leak and condensate even after sealing them with silicon three times. The rubber boots that connect to the factory wiring harness rotted out after only after 6 months use. After we bought them I spent a ton of time wiring the LED's, adding weather striping to eliminate bounce, aiming the projectors, sealing leaks, sealing boots, electrical taping wires and rotted out rubber boots. The high beams don't have any adjustment and one was aiming for the sky.... I know many of you on here mentioned that most aftermarket projectors are junk and I have to agree with these ones!

Anyways we put in the original OEM lights and installed 6000 HID's that my neighbor let us borrow. Now the fogs look like crap and will have to get HID's for the fogs too. The HID's really light up the road! Trying to decide to stick with the 6000 bulbs that are in there now or go to the more blue 8000's?

im just got my 6000k single beam set in the mail and installed tonight and i have to say HOLY SHIST! they are freakin bright going from stock halogens for the year iv had the car. Im using the stock lights as well so still dont have the projectors. Only thing i can say is be careful about putting anything brighter than 6000k in the reflectors cuz with the 6000k im a little worried a cop will find me very interesting lol plus im trying to find a deal on projectors or at least see if i can get the money for a set very soon >.<

I made sure the lights are aimed out and down a little. I got in another car and my son drove past me a few times and the lights didn't seem too bright. The 6000's are not real blue so as long as they aren't aimed up too much I think you will be ok. My son wants to go with 8000's and I think those might draw more attention being much more blue...
