Hi guys, A buddy of mine wants to put HID's in his low beams of his 2008 GPGT. I'm quite unsure how the DRL's work in the Grand Prixs. I have a 2001 Impala LS and my DRL's are disabled by simply hiding the sensor under the dash panel so it always thinks it's dark out. Anyways....How do the DRL's work in his car? Is it as easy as pulling the DRL fuse and installing the HID's in the lows?

Sorry if this isn't the right section, please let me know...new guy here.

    Thanks!

That's my bad..the back of his car just says Grand Prix, just assumed it was a GT. Sorry for the confusion.

So the DRL's run at full power? Just wanna make sure I won't have the same issue as I did with my Impala.

I guess I'll have to take a look at his car and pull it into my garage and see if the headlights get any brighter when it's in the dark.
