Switching guage cluster lights to blue?

I want to change my guage cluster color from red to blue.

I've read these are the bulbs behind it;
8 - 194
12 - 74

Is it as simple as switching them out or is there a film on the cluster that will keep it from appearing blue?
If so, how do I fix it?
