Gen 1's from them have fitment issues. Your best bet is to stick with 3800 performance for the gen 1.

My original one even had some fitment issues from 3800 its all part of dealing with fiberglass parts

I should have been more specific on the elitespoilers. It does not sit flush on the center of the spoiler when installed on the trunk. I had a gen 1 as well and the only fitment issues was with some of the holes not lining up.
