I am planning to get my windows tinted this weekend. I called in and got and got a quote but i am still undecided on how dark to go. By law your only allowed to got to 35% but i dont know if that is dark enough for me. 20% seems better to me but i want more opinions on this. 35%? 20%? even lower? Let me know what you have and if you like it or not. Thanks.

I had 20% all around with a 5% brow on the Cobalt.

My GTP has 35% in the front windows and 20% the rest of the way around.

The woman's G5 has 20% all around with no brow...

    So...I say 20%...all around.

Thanks, I was actually wondering about the brow. How do you like the 5% brow on the cobalt?

Whatever you do, do it all the way around. It looks odd to me if the fronts are lighter then the rest.

I agree. Looks stupid when the fronts are light and the rears are dark. I am for sure making them all the same. I think i will go with the brow idea too.

Had 35% on the side and 25% in the back, never got pulled over.

Now have 6% on the sides and 25% in the back, been pulled over twice in one week and have had the tint for about three weeks.

Story is, dark tint looks awesome, but cops will be all over you...

My brow is nice. More of a functionality thing than looks.

I wonder how much a ticket would be. I doubt they would touch me at 20% all the way around. Or atleast i hope they wont 20% sounds like a good place to be.

When i do it again, since I'll be forced to take it off sooner or later, I'll be going with 20% all around. It's dark enough, but not too dark either.

When I get mine done I am going either 3% or 5% all the way around. The cops can suck on that....

I've got 15% all around and I think it's about perfect. I'd go darker if I thought I wouldn't get pulled over.

15% on my GP not so dark looking, better night visibility for backing up and such.

2 1/2% on my T/A cant see **** at night out the back window or side mirrors with windows up, looks sic. Got 9 tickets the first year it was on then i guess everyone got used to it.

i have 35% all the way around and i like it a lot. still able to see out at night perfectly. kind of wish i went with 30% though. anything darker and backing up is a nightmare.

I have 15% all around plus the brow. Its dark enough and I'm happy with it.
Sometimes its tricky at night if its really dark.

    I'd vote 15 or 20% with a brow
