Anybody take the zzperformance and numbering off a black mps pulley? Or can you only do it to the clear ones?

I polished my buddys pulley n it took alot of sanding to get it off! It looks like the lettering is laser etched?

U can sand it and then paint it or have it pdr coat?

Lol that's too much work I was hoping some 1500 grit n polish would take it off
