Thread: Fog Lights for 2004 GP?

What fog lights have people put in their 2004+ GPs? I put in putco foglights, and while the lights are good, they are very hot and started to deteriorate the inside of the housing. Putco is sending me brand new fog light housings, so I want to replace the fog lights to make sure this doesn't happen again. What types of lights have you all been using? I'm trying to have a color similar to my Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's which are 4100K bulbs. Also, I want the bulbs to actually work, meaning light on the road, not just for visual effects. is the inside of your housing still in good shape? no heat damage?

Didn't put them inside of the housings I know Confusingboat was going to do a projector fog light retro fit inside of plan old turn signal housings.

Really?! No one knows what bulbs they have in their foglights or any suggestions for good white bulbs for 2004/2005 GP?

Ive had 3000K HIDs in factory foglamp housings for over a year now with no deterioration. I dont see why you cant just go the HID route.

I'm looking at several different options right now, but getting input from people that have actually done these things to their car is the best information I can get.

anyone else, I can't believe we have so many people with 04/05 but very few are willing to just write down the type of fog light they have and how they like it.

lots of us just have the stupid park lamps down low too.... i'll upgrade some day though...

yeah, I think it was only the 2004/2005 GPs that had the Half Signal & Half Fog Light setup

Any other helpful suggestions for fog lights for my car that aren't too hot, still look white and don't require any wiring (as in bulbs only not kits)?

I retrofitted Maxima fog projectors in mine.

Problem is these fog lights are a ***** to crack open and suck to reseal

I never had the stock ones in my car cause I bought the car used.
