If i buy the morimoto mini d2s will i still have to dremel the back of the housing itself, considering they are .35 inches shorter than the H1's? and If I do how do i seal that hole i dremeled out?

All you need is a holesaw cut a hole. Any dremeling will be done to the plastic piece behind the headlights in 04+ cars if I'm not mistaking. That's what model year you're talking about right? There's threads on here lookup RedDawnGXP's work pretty sure it shows you exactly how to do 04+ models and I've provided more than enough information to show guys how to do them on 97-03 gp's. If all fails I can do them for you but you can probably save a lot of money and mount them yourself.

reddawns have huge hole dremeled out on the back.... the d2s's are almost a half inch shorter so im wondering if i even have to do that?

Use H1's proven fact they fit if you drill the hole. D2S are bigger from top to bottom anyways. It's a lot easier than trying to fit an oversized projector in.

Unless you already have the hid kit bought and you purchased amp to D2S connector so your D2S bulbs will work. I wouldn't say D2S projectors are any different really other than bulb. If you plan to put cheap bulbs in D2S it's a waste. If you're installing some Phillips D2S then it might be worth it I dunno.
