Its as far back as it can go with out hanging off. I think the reflection is messing with you. It honestly looks better in person. I mocked up the curve and made a template with cardboard to match the curve of the trunk then took green painters tape and ran a strip as a guide for where the front of the spoiler should sit to match the curve then laid down some 3M double sided tape and heated up the spoiler with a hair dryer so it would bend around the curve better.
For the money Bill I'd order one I think you'd be happy. It cost me like a whole 25 dollars including shipping.

Bio, I wasnt going to fiberglass it to the trunk as in mold it.
I was going to fiberglass the lip spoiler its self then sand and paint it and 3M tape it back on so its body color not black. I dont think paint would last very long on the rubber its actually made out of.
