Thread: VHT wrinkle black blower casing

I got bored and went to work on my spare blower casing. Cleaned it to the best of my ability, roughed up the surface a bit, taped it off and went to town. I did three heavy coats one vertical, one horizontal, and a diagonal coat. Waited a couple minutes in between. It goes on thick but adheres very well and left me no runs. After the final coat I went to town with the blow dryer. Any form of heat I read rapidly accelerates drying time. A lot of people complain of taking days to dry. But I seriously sat there for a little over an hour blow drying. It's amazing you can watch it wrinkle right in front of your eyes. I'm very happy with the results

Dry to the touch, but ill let it cure for a few days for good measure.

Sure does. I got this actually from oreillys but they didn't carry red. You can get red online. Google vht wrinkle plus red.

Thanks! The only real before pic I have is before I tore the blower down and cleaned it. Notice how nasty it was lol.
