So I still rock the stocker housings and wont change for a while until they come out with a good "ebay" type black housing for not super expensive. And ive been thinking about HIDs for some time. Any input?? I was thinking a DDM kit as I have heard some decent things and the price is right.

    Anyways thoughts are appreciated

The only time I want to kill people is when they are obviously crazy blue. I was thinking if I did them I would go 5K range from what ive been told that is pretty dang close to pure white.

I've got 55W in my lows and 35W in my fogs. I have a 2007 Grand Prix GT though.

I would suggest if you're worried about the wiring I would get a relay kit from the battery for both sets of HIDs.

    55W 5000K lows
    35W 6000K fogs

The 55W 5000K because it puts out more power it looks like 35W at about 4000K.

    Get them from DDM Tuning.

I looked at the DDM tuning with the wiring harness i was thinking 55w at 7K maybe 6K. with the harness the kit it 65$. However, when i went on there I can no longer select the 55W so i have e-mailed them and am waiting a response

yep HIDs are nice. just not more than 6000K.
5000-6000K are the way to go. They look a ton better than OEM crap.
especially on these cars, you cant see anything stock.

i got 8000k 35w and they dont look very blue. they look like 6000k almost. hard to tell though because ive never seen more than pictures, which is hard to base things off of.

It will but 6000K will look like 5000k (which is really nice and has a bunch of usable light) and anything over that IMO is stupid.

Here are some pictures of mine for you maybe to use as a reference.

    You're welcome.

Just remember what's more important to you; usable light, or color? I decided for usable light.

That is where I will be going as well I do not a ton of color at all. Seeing as those ones are the ones I want to run off the road

If you want some nice black housing, just paint your stockers black. If you go HIDs, I like 5000K in a 35W kit. It has a very white light.

Any HID kit is an improvement over stock, except maybe 12k. so IMO none of them are stupid.

Please buy some projectors before you make some little old lady hit you head on. That glare is rediculous Your output looks nice but it's cars like yours that put me in road rage!
