    i have a 1999 pontiac grand prix GT and am doing the HID fog light install but have no idea what do to... i have all ready successfully completed the HID headlight install.. i am using a beamers kit.
    need to know where to mount ballast and such? anyone with pictures would be great!!!!

    I mounted my ballasts to the inner fender. I however did this with the front bumper skin off. Sooo much easier for cleaner installations.
    Wiz, Wideband O2, 78mm T/B, P&P SC, SSIC, P&P LIM, 3", 1.8CCRR's, CC push rods, Custom covers, SLP headers, Meziere Water pump 3" Magnaflow, Race Tranny, 20" Concept One Wheels, Coilovers, BMR F&R suspension, Custom Body and Paint, Custom interior and sound.

    I mounted mine inside the bumper itself laying down. Double sided tape and it never gave me any problems.

    Jack it up and there is plenty of room to shove stuff in there if you look up.

    sweet pictures really help.... so where would you all say is the best place to mounth the ballast???? easy install?

    I can't say exactly where to mount the ballasts', as my upgrade is still yet to happen, but on my T-Bird, I mounted them to the underside of the bumper. Two sided tape, a heat gun and some brake clean, and I did it in the December cold weather; stayed put for 4+ years.





    I can only imagine that our GP's have a few places we can put the ballasts'.

    Mount anywhere where the wires reach the housings. preferably on metal using double sided tape or you can bolt the metal brackets on somewhere and put the ballast on that.
