I was out browsing the net and found this:

97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix WS-6 Hood

Is $424 too much for a WS-6 hood?

Now my taste are a little different from the crowd so I'll put this up and expect to get flamed. I'd like to see this front bumper with a SD Hood. I think that would look really sharp!

Here's your flame. I'm gonna pass on the bumper.

I do want the clear lenses, but I have kinda dotted lightly tinted headlight covers. You can clearly see the orange though. My husband says no, but I still want em. If you still have em in a week or 2, I'll take em!

I'm sorry, I was posting the price that they have them online for, I'm not selling mine.

Can't believe that no one else likes that front bumper! Oh Well, if I can get through the next couple of increases in gas prices maybe I'll get it and show everyone how great it would look.

Found out who makes the hoods for PFYC, "Kaminari", only problem is they don't sell to the public. They only sell through their vendor, I asked who that vendor was and they told me they couldn't say. I should just go to the internet and do a search for SD Hood.

Funny thing is every hood they have for sale on their site is 3-4 hundred dollars. Wonder how much PFYC makes off each hood?

I like the hood but the bumper is a bit ricey for my taste. Just my opinion. I think thats a sweet price for the hood, depending on if they are going to rape you on the shipping and how much work it will need to be painted. I have heard horror stories of people buying cheap body kits and spending big bucks to prep them. Just something to look out for, I really like the hood tho.

I am a huge fan of the WS6 hood. I am amazed how aggressive it made my car look. Pictures dont do it justice. The price is a great price on the hood. ASCD was selling them for 685.00 I believe. So if it is a good quality hood that doesnt need a lot of prep to paint and shipping isnt too bad, then it sounds like a great deal. Shipping is always a bit high on the hoods because of the size and weight.
As for the bumper, I'm not a fan of that. I went with the SD air dam and it complimented the WS6 hood nicely.
Bottom line do what you like. It's your car. Enjoy it!! I stopped listening to everyone on appearance a while back. No matter what you do someone wont like it. What matters is if you like it. I say the 10 step test, after you park your car and walk 10 steps do you look back and think Dam, nice car? If so you made the right choice.
