    Hey guys.

Not sure where to post interior mods, but I am looking to change the shift knob in my automatic, 05 Grand Prix. I know that there is a shift button, so installation may be a little more complex.

    My question....

Can a throw a Hurst T-Handle shifter on my car like the one in the provided link?

I know someone on GPF used an old T/A I think it was T shifter. Just make sure the one you use has the same bolt pattern as the factory shaft.

As far as performance shift, rewire a button or switch somewhere else on the center area.

    Knob Finish - Polished
    Knob Material - Aluminum
    Knob Style - T-handle
    Lighted - No
    Momentary Switch - Yes
    Overdrive Activation Switch - No
    Park Release Button - No
    Quantity - Sold individually
    Shift Knob Logo - Hurst

Would need to know if it would bolt on but most importantly.... once you install... how do you plan to get it out of park to shift the rest of the gears? Leaving the button fixated permanently down would be a bad solution IMO
