Thread: What is a Happy Knob?

I see people selling it on the classifieds and I see others have it in their signature. I've never looked into this thing and when I do a search I seem to not find information explaining what it is and what it does. Can someone explain what it does and what the benefits/sacrifices are, etc.?

Good link there Josh. Just a timing controller. They work out well, especially if you're running Alky or even if your Intercooled......

screw the IAT sensor. happy knobs rule. timing adjustments on the fly.

I miss my happy knob.
I had a the tune that had the timing tables to use it too. Any one remembers ZZP red race GTP? I had that PCM that was in that car.
