Re: Drivers side HID headlight wont turn on when the car isnt running
Wow OK mom. Actually I was totally fine to drive. I quit drinking hours before I left, I was just adding the fact that I had been drinking that night.
Anyways, I installed a 470ohm resistor inplace of the photoresistor for the automatic lights. So far so good, ill report back and let ya all know if the problem has gone away.

What does exactly this "relay" harness do? is it pulling straight 12v from the battery or what?

Re: Drivers side HID headlight wont turn on when the car isnt running
why do so many people think its ok to run hids without the relay harness?
Re: Drivers side HID headlight wont turn on when the car isnt running
I'm just wondering what this fancy harness does? I'm running a Bosch relay wired in with mine and it works great.

Because some people manage to do it, and have no issues.

Re: Drivers side HID headlight wont turn on when the car isnt running
I just installed the 9007-1 kit (low beam only). I have the same problem - start car - drivers light flashes then goes off. I just turn on the brights for a couple of seconds and then turn them off and light come on correctly. Says on VVME website that if your having this problem, start the car with lights off. So now I have to leave the brights on until I want headlights. Improve one thing, F**k up another. If anyone has a good solution for this please post it.... I like my automatic lights.
