The housing was black, when wiping the inside of the housing clean the chrome actually wiped off. It didn't look good so I got some high temp black regular spray paint. The headlights here are from zonk speed or something like that on ebay. They're rushed from the factory. Minimal silicone where it needs it most.

I actually got the car back from getting fixed from a deer. I had the GTX hood put on at that time. When I picked the car up from the body shop the headlights had moisture the first day. Here's some differences below on these housings.

The silicone on the right is from the factory very sloppy. On the left you can see where I sealed the actual corner of the housing. That's quite a bit of silicone to get it to look light that. I also went around the top, bottom, and other corner. Black corners that don't leak for the win.

Here, you can see right down inside there's no sealant whatsoever. Headlights are the same way but not after I get done with them.

What do you mean back ordered, from where? I have an extra Morimoto projector H1 that I'll sell for cheap. The bi-xenon solenoid was mounted 1/4 inch past the bottom of the housing. I dremeled the top of the projector housing to make it work but couldn't get it to sit flat. I contacted Retrofitsource.com and it was a factory defect. You could make it work by grinding the bottom inside headlight housing where it sits but I just bought another one. TRS would've taken it back but I grinded the top corners. You can have it for $30 shipped if ya want it

You are buying Morimoto projectors right?

They're on ebay also you don't have to get them via TRS even though Matt is a good guy and his customer service is second to none.

I've got another set of black retro's that you could buy if you want them. They're not the greatest because they were my first set I ever did. They're just sitting here, pretty much look exactly like these.

    How much money you haz?

You pay for the projectors, shrouds, and oem black housings plus give me half what I'd normally charge for labor and I sell them to you!
