applicable for our taillights too, a red to amber bulb is available.

no so i can have red halos whenever i want red and then white halos whenever i what white. so it would be set up like every other led or by using swithchbacks but not used as blinkers

I could probably set them up that way but would probably need two switches to turn on each color.

2 switches for each halo? i was thinking of using a single pull double throw (SPDT) switch. so it would be like:

    red
    off
    white

and then theres 3 terminals on the switch, common top and bottom, so i could run either power or ground (either way it does what it needs to do). so lets say i go power to the switch and then go to the top of it for red power and then bottom for the white power

you just need a dpdt relay (double pole double throw) one side for amber when the relay kick for the turn signal, the other side for the white connected to the running light.

Gotcha. Figure that for making it into the turn signal.

if that was at me i meant for having 2 halo colors, and not use them as blinkers lol

Umm. RadioShack? They have tons of ****. As for multiple colors, just get a switch with multiple positions and wire them up for common feed and switched ground. It's always better to switch the ground because it's easier to diagnose a short, should one occur.

Oh ok. Wasn't exactly sure what you meant by it. LEDs are pretty simple.

Fact. There's not much to know, unless you want to get into the intensity and viewing angle, or dimming via pwm.
