Well first, I'm all about the details and I want to make the whole car look as nice as possible. With that said I cant stand dirty/rusty calipers and rotors.The dirty/rusty calipers are the first ugly thing you see!! Especially if you have a nice wide open wheel. So I painted mine silver, I chose silver to make the car look more elegant. I got to tell ya, they look sweet against the chrome 04 wheels that I have.
I use ceramic pads to cut down on the dust with the stock calipers and the 12" slotted rotors which fill in the inner wheel real nice. I wish our cars were like that stock, they aren't so I feel the need to clean them up. It pisses me off when you look at some foreign cars where the calipers and rotors never seem to get rusty.
