    Ok, so I've wrecked my GTP & am in the process of fixing it. I'm considering a fiberglass GTX hood from 3800Performance.com & what I want to know is if the hood is quality or is it junk. Thx

    fiberglass = hit and miss.

    Might fit, might not.

    nice choice in hood.

    Not if you plan on going i/c though.

    Cradle spacers and/or PRJ core would be a good idea if you were going that route.

    if it helps I got the SLP spoiler from 3800Performance and the spoiler doesn't quite fit right. Heard the hoods at PYFC fit better

    I suggest you contact them. It may not be an authentic SLP GTX hood. It could be the American Sports Car Design version of the hood.

    Most of the spoilers don't fit right and need asjustments. Every car is a bit different.

    Had a CF'ish SD hood from PFYC. There were big gaps between the hood and headlights. So thier fitment isnt perfect either. It's probably hit and miss with any aftermarket hood. Still, i'd like to get the GTX hood if I find they are quality. I've bought fiberglass parts off ebay before that nvr fit and were complete junk. Thats why i need to know.
