Front bumper is fairly easy. I believe you have to take out the fenderwell liners or at least the bolts that make contact with the front bumper and I 'think' there may be a couple of bolts inside the bumper. Sorry about the lack of details, its been a few weeks since I pulled mine off. There are also a few of those push pin things along the front you have to take out. Its really easy to get the front bumper off, that much I can tell you . Just dont forget to disconnect the fog lights.

As for the fenders, if you figure that one out, let me know.

im just a n00b but i would assume that the fenders and radiator support are part of a "front clip" type of thing where both fenders come off of the car at the same time and separate from the firewall. if that makes any sense Scotty.

Makes perfect sense. But the fenders will come off separately, for the most part. But I think there is a rivet or something like that down along the bottom where it meets the rocker panel or door, not exactly sure where, and that is the problem area as I understand it.

ahhh, i c. well then, i stand corrected.lol. I know for a fact that if you get a Chilton's manual or if you can get your hands on a dealership technician's manual for 97-03 GPs it will show you how to do it. I had the manual just before my car got totalled and i distinctly remember seeing sections detailing how to remove the front as well as rear bumper. I guess you can kinda tell that i didnt read the "front bumper removal" sections very much. But...i guess going out and spending $75 on a four volume set of tech manuals would kind of defeat the purpose of getting FREE answers on a FREE forum. either way, best of luck!

sittin on a shelf at work right where i left em. I know they would let me borrow them again, they never use them anyway. All the info is on computers nowadays, technician websites and such. Should i borrow them again?

Well I would be interested in knowing how to get the front fenders off as I would love to have mine repainted as there are a couple scratches Id like dealt with. So if its a major pain, dont worry about it, but if that info is easy to get to, then by all means.

gotcha covered bro, ill snag the manuals here in the next day or so. Scan the front fender removal pages on my scanner and send you the images; sound good? Of course that's assuming that the scanned pages will turn out okay. But yeah, ill get that taken care of for ya and if theres anything else i can do to help please dont hesitate to ask!

Thank you my fine friend, but dont go through any drastic measures. Id like to be able to pull them off and paint them but Im not going to cry or sweat it if I cant.

But if you can get the scans to me that would be awesome. Might even be good for the community to have as a whole just so the information is out there. Thank you for your enthusiasm and willingness to help.

I have a question, do you have to remove the hood to remove the fender? I have the fender ready to come off but it seems to be attatched to the bracket for the hood. I took out the bolts(2 that I can see) but no luck. Is there a rivet there as well?

gotta take the hood and bracket off.. then unbolt, you will also need to remove the front bumper to remove the fender.
