i vote 245/50s. i wish i would have gone with a wider tire
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

245/50/16 is the biggest you want to go. i ran them and they looked good as well as performed well.

Tires in your sig are TINY, much like your... eyes. :P

I like the flat sidewalls on some tires, I think that looks pretty damn sporty and what not. Is there a term for tires having flatter sidewalls?

I vote 235/55 or 235 60's on a stock wheel... I really hate the big ol' redneck bulging sidewall. And I can say that, I drive fbodies. I know redneck. LOL.

Wise idea. Here are 235/60's on stockers...

The wheels just aren't wide enough for much more, IMO. Depending on brand, some are cut a bit fatter than others, so if ya look around, you'll probably be satisfied.

they are tiny cause they were free and i needed tires. they are 50's and i would highly suggest not getting that size!

this is why i'm getting 235/55's:

wider tire, but still w/ side wall! unlike my sig. lol

245/50/16 is the biggest you can go. here they are on my old one:

they fit. they will not roll off the bead. they hooked well.
