So I'm on a budget and have been trying to come up with little ideas to make my car a little more original and thought of license plate frames. I never see ones that say pontiac or grand prix in any of the pictures posted on this site. Here are a couple examples of the ones I'm considering. On the first link I like the one that says "Grand Prix". The second link I like the one that's all chrome and says "Pontiac" in chrome on it at the top. The third link I like because it's more plain and has the bubble cover on it.

    License Plate Frames

Pontiac Aztek License Plates - OEM FRAMES

License Plate Frame and Bubble Shield - PFYC.com

So what's everything think? Good idea or not?

BTW, I have a black and chrome theme going on my car which is another reason why I thought this might add a nice little subtle touch to it.

I dont like seeing plates on cars, so seeing a frame around the thing that ruins the look of the car makes it worse.

    I vote no.

Thanks Rocafella I forgot to link that kind when I made the thread because that's one I'm considering too. I don't know if I'd get a tinted one though because that's something cops around here might be bothered by.

And no problem 99prixgt glad I could help haha.

Matt, I agree with the plate ruining the car thing but I was just thinking that a frame might make it look a little better. Either way I appreciate the vote.

No problem. You'll be fine with the smoked version, you can still see the license plate easily
