Thread: Window Tinting in Michigan

Once I get the car running smoother, I'm gonna start mods. I wanna start with tinting the windows. Where's a good place in Michigan to check out? Whats the darkest tint I can go with? I've got a 99 GT sedan. I live in southern michigan. Closest bigger cities are Jackson and Kzoo.

This says it can be any darkness but know if u get the front windows fully tinted it will be illegal in Mi! I have looked into this and also know that most people dont have a problem with it. However, if you run into a cop that wants to be a dick (as we often see) then he can ticket you for it! Saying this i do believe the GP looks very nice when tinted and I will get mine done sooner or later

tint law is 35%. also, you can only have the top 4" of your front side windows tinted.

just get 20% all around.

I heard of a place in Kzoo called New Image Tint that was fairly cheap and did a great job. Anyone use that place?

I was thinking about getting 20% all the way around. Anyone have pics on here of theirs done with 20%? Would really like to see what it would look like.

I also would like to see what some different tints look like on our vehicle but i almost think a picture can only say so much and it may be better to compare in person. Also call the place see if they will let you come in and see the quality of their work.
