It ****s up everything inside the car when you turn it on. All the interior dash lights dim super bad, and the digital CC control screen just turns off. Things still work, you just don't see ****.
When I say turn it on, I mean the switch that lights up both bulbs in the tails, not the blinker, so it stays constant. I'm not going to undo it now, but christ.
Also Becky, you wanna know why I never figured it out? My driver side 194 bulb was out, and I didn't check it before I cut, so I thought it just didn't work. Figured out today it was the 194...
I did what that guide said, and didn't run into any problems at all. I didn't have to do anything outside of that 'how to' and have done it now on two separate grand prixs.
If your results end up like mine, probably not...
Although I didn't think to check the light dimmer switch, I could've bumped that, not sure why it would turn off the screen on my A/C controls though.
Edit: That is EXACTLY what I did. Dimmer got bumped all the way down, and for whatever reason that turns off the Digital CC screen.

Yes. Sometimes it blinks with the blinker. It only happened to me once and I was driving most of yesterday.
Yes Stunt, you're good.
Also, it says they may act up with LED tails. I don't have any, if I did, I wouldn't try it on them either. If anyone knows about that, feel free to post.
If you do this mod the way it says to and splice/crimp properly, you shouldn't run into any problems at all. It's a pretty simple mod.
Agreed.
Take my advice, have the right tools to do with and you'll save a lot of heartache. I didn't have the proper wire cutters, tape, or any such.
Also make sure when you cut, that you cut the CORRECT end of the 194 wire. I made the mistake of cutting the wrong side on the passenger side, and had to cut the other end off, and "put it back" and then it was too short, so I had to remove part of ANOTHER wire.
Aka: Mine's a mess. Just have what you need to do it RIGHT.
well, the tint looks nice haha
