Got this car a few weeks ago, and the funds aren't there yet for anything to add some ponies (Had to do a tuneup first), thought I could spend a day at least making it look half way decent. After putting the plugs/ wires/ etc... in and washing it up.

Let me know what you think, I think I might have gone overboard with the white...

Hmmm, Alpine decal isn't really working and the rear window decal has been done...alot.

I'd also leave the stock lug covers black, or paint them a nice gloss black if anything. Tint the windows...do that...it does wonders on a stock car

I agree about the alpine thing, I'm gonna get a new piece of insulation for the hood and paint the GTP logo on it once I get the supercharger for this bad boy.

I also still have the stock lug covers, whats on there now are some from this site "www.coloredlugs.com". I wouldn't recommend anyone shopping there, they aren't actually screw on lug covers, they are just plastic caps.

edit: Is that under hood insulation even necessary? If I take it off for a few days will the heat from the engine crack the paint on my hood?

No it wont hurt the paint.
Mine has been off for about 6k miles and the paint is just fine.

Looks good. You should paint your calipers as well. I would recommend you paint the letters on the cover red or black. That would look good.

I was saving for some go fast parts, but after having a system in all my past cars it feels empty driving this thing with a stock head unit and crappy speakers.

Alpine deck, Type R 12" and new components going in today, just finished building the box.

HV3, Tune and a Ubend delete is all I would do. Debage and tint = SEXY SLEEPER.

I hear thee HV3 only really adds any measurable horsepower at 4000+ RPM and this isn't really a drag car or anything like that. Ubend delete sounds like a good idea though.
