I wanna get a set of those fake HID bulbs. Alot of my friends have gotten the 9.99 blue bulbs from ebay and put them in and they work great, but i know at one point, someone had said something about melting a wiring harness. Just to clarifiy, what bulb wattage, and how hot (K figure 5500K?) of a bulb should i look for?

    Thanks,
    -Scott

    never heard of melting wires....

but i'd stay away from fake xenons. my g/f has some and they suck hardcore. blue light does not show very well on roads especially when its snowing or raining. don't waste your money. You are better off getting some PIAA or Phillips bulbs that put out pure white 4300k.

or, do an actual hid upgrade

by the time you get done buying 'good' bulbs youll have spent as much as you would have if you'd have gotten real HIDs from the get go.

^^Agree.. Many years ago I used to buy these bulbs from EBAY and they were trash when it came to visibility.. But that was also when HID kits were still 150-300 bucks.. With as cheap as HID's are now a days I would just trash the cheap bulbs and get HID's. If you dont want HID's then look @ a better brand such as PIIA

its all plug and play and the wiring doesnt get messed up because all its doing is powering a relay.
