I installed the brackets and it tightened my noodle-floppy headlights up pretty nicely. Kind of a shame 04 models didnt have this already.

Ok, found the paper instrutions I got from the dealer for installing the kit. Go to your local GM dealer (shouldn't matter which brand) and ask for Bulletin:"#04-08-42-013: Headlamps Shake at Night (Install Bracket) - (Nov 23, 2004)" It is also labelled as Document ID #1569949. The document is 7 pages long. Try that, if you can't get to a dealer or they won't print it, I'll make a copy of the document.
So wait there's an actual recall for this? Lol where have I been

Well, it wasn't a recall, it was a tech bulletin. While under warranty the dealer would install the kit for free, but if you are outside of warranty (like we all are at this point) then you can buy the kit and install it yourself (or pay them if you really wanted to). It was quite easy to install, probably the hardest part was buying a threading screw to tab the metal so that the bolt would screw in right.
I didnt need a tap and die to complete the job, Just drilled a 5.5mm hole in the radiator support and the bolt threaded right in.
I guess I just followed the instructions too closely then, lol
