I'm thinking about getting the black ones and maybe getting them tinted.
    Does flip still do that?

ha i have them. i hate the flames but it made all the lights really bright. they were better looking than the stockers with those stupid lines. plus they were in really bad condition. i did tint the stockers and was able to sell them to some1 from PA. in my area of ohio ive had alotta friends n people i know get pulled over for tinted tails so i got rid of them. but i guess the popular thing is the 12 dollar can of VHT tint and rock those...

Yea i hate the flames, that's the main reason i'm still thinking about it.

But if they were tinted, wouldn't the flames be less noticeable?

I have been considering the led tailights. The seal on my lights are completely gone on the top and kept filling with water and blowing my lights out. I drilled a hole in the bottom for a quick fix, but need to get some new ones.

I hate the lines in the stock ones as well, they are really dim and I dont like that as its hard to see in sunlight.

I looked at these for a while but I just dont know how they would look tinted... I couldnt get past the flames either.

Try checking out the leds, you can get the in black and they look slightly tinted the way they come.

here are pics of it on a car:
