I can answer half of your question. I do have DDM HIDs (love them!)... don't know about the DRL issue because I can disable mine. DDM recommends disabling them.... but obviously, that's not an option. I even turned off the flash when you hit the lock/unlock.

hmmm ok thanks 03GTPLE on the HID review from DDM tuning... So my next question is aimed directly at 04+ GP's, is there a way to disable DRL's ?

And since you admit you don't read the entire threads.. (as stated in another thread) if you go back a few pages, you might even find some pics

in the owners manual... i don't remember what page, but you can customise all sorts of things that have to do with lights, chimes, and horn honks using your owner's manual.

Here you go... it's on our site (the instructions).

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/disab...ids-27533.html

The owners manual is on the internet. Google it, and if nothing else GM has it for free download.

Alright thought I would post these for reference for all y'all 04+ (mine is GXP) owners.

From the side, these are 6000k they are not that blue.

    Output with just the fogs

    Output with fogs and headlights

Cutoff of just the projector fogs on my garage

Cutoff of the headlights, pretty solid for reflectors, it will never match the quality of projectors, but still solid

Overall, I'm extremely happy with them, hope this helps all of you guys with 7th gens who can't decide. :3

P.s. I want projectors, oh thanks for volunteering drunkie, your so kind.

Anyone Know which colors are what on the headlight harness of a 03 gp gt (hi/lo/ground)? I was hoping not to have to go out and buy a volt meter.

    It's just my phone

Both my headlights and fogs are 6k which is very white with a tint of blue in the background.

And what are you talking about in your second post there? I'd be glad to help

well if you read the first page its basically about moving the fliment from the HID to a lenght that is the same of the stock bulb ( in my case a 9006 ). from the fliment of a 9006 to the housing is differnt from the HID's.

my issue with my HID is that they are not bright enough, I bought them from DDMtuning, they are the same brightness as my slyvania ultras...

I just don't understand how you exactly move the filment in the HID bulb.

...just in case a 97-03 owner reads the previous statement and just wants to go down and get Silverstar Ultra bulbs, don't - here's why:

For the stock 2003 housings, the Silverstar Ultras do not even come close to the same output compared to my DDM HIDs. The DDM tuning HIDs are almost too bright, and they light up everything. Everyonce in a while I'll get flashed from people that think my brights are on. ....my buddy says they are too bright... I absolutely love them and will recommend them to anyone.

I wish I had the same experience with my 06. I think moddifying the bulb is needed in my case

I'm not understanding the first page. I undserstand why to do this but the process of actually moving the filament, I don't get. I've read over and over. doesn't really explain what you need to do to the bulb. just basically states that it needs to be moved down. will it pull out? cut something? screw off? what?....
