Ok so ive seen a few GP's do this and mine just started doing it and i want it fixed asap its way to ghetto. Has anyone had this happen to them or does anyone know how to get in there and fix it?

if you mean how it comes out while turning and such, mine did it when i got my car. fix is to drill the two body rivits on the gas door, take it out, and replace it with a junkyard good one. the spring breaks in there and i dont have a quick fix for it other than replace it

but how do u get in there to get the 2 body rivots out and fix it

the rivits are right on the inner lip of the gas door hole. open your gas door, look at the left side lip of the body, you will see two rivits. thats all that holds it on.
