there should be maby some screws too?
sucks when ya cant get stuff to work right i know the feeling all to well lol

the piece missing might be inside the lip of the headliner, feel around up there and see if you feel it.

mine is like that too. it's been like that since i got it. i didn't want to glue or sticky it up, because then it'd be stuck to the liner. im sure there has to be some way to make it stay up?

First off there are no screws in that portion of the assembly. There are some in the light fixture itself. I know, I had to remove them when I inserted my LED dome lights. The plastic pieces have probably worked their way into the headliner, consider them DOA.

You can either look at a junk yard for another GP with a sunroof or you might have to find one new and purchase that and replace the old one.

Sorry I cant help more than that

Your inner ring is broken. There is a ring that goes around the switch, it's like a mounting ring, and the button assembly clips into it. Your going to have to pop out the switch, there are 2 prongs facing towards the back of the car, and horizontal egde running across the front of the switch, pointing towards the windshield. You have to pull it back towards you or towards the back of the car, and gently pull down and wiggle it out, its a pita but, it will come.
