Ive got no rockers left. They are almost gone and i want to repair/replace them.

Whats the best solution? let the body shop reweld em ect, or someone once told me i could get covers and forget it exists.

    Suggestions?

You could get some sheet metal and fix them yourself. I would reccomend putting gt sides on anyway but that would cover them up if the repair job looks bad.

Junkyard would be your best bet for the side skirts.

Update - got the side skirts when i went that day, got em primed and waiting on paint (gotta wait for another paycheck) also got a new front bumper (GT) will eventually get rear too.
has anyone done the SE-GT body conversion before? the door panels have 2 sided tape to hold em on but also have small pegs that go into holes - should i put holes in or just doubleside em be done?

Hey bud! I dont know if you use Ebay or not, But they do sell full lenght replacement rockers for our cars. I dont know how mechanically inclined you are and whatnot, but my car had the same problem and thats the route im taking. They are $59 per side.

yeah i know 60 a side, but you have to cut out and reweld in the new metal
2 things im not willing to do currently..

one day down the road i can always take of the skirts and fix the rockers properly. or pay someone to do it lol
    but not now..
