I need to respray my front bumper! Being on a tight budget, i have decided to go ahead and do it myself - The car is GM Bright White.

My first question is, what paint would you go for? I am thinking of going with Duplicolor paint, but can only find the 125gram spray bombs around town (and they cost 10 dollars a bottle). I would also be using Duplicolor spray on primer and clearcoat. I noticed it doesn't say what type of paint it is on the bottle, i assume it is acrylic. Anyone have any better recommendations for paint? I want to avoid getting my paint matched at a shop, i already tried that and paid some cash for a bottle of poorly matched paint.

Secondly, Anyone have any tips on removing the front bumper.. do i just remove the foglights and unscrew the panel?

    Thanks!

the type of paint you want is urethane. (thats the kind that bodyshops would have sprayed onto your car..) If you going to spray bomb it go fiind a place that can mix paint (body shop) have them make you about 30ounces and then take it to a place that can put the paint into spray cans for you.

If a body shop failed to match paint for you take it back. Matching paint means just that. Wether you have to try an alt. paint coade or tint it by hand it should be done with a sprayout card (sample) that you can hold to your bumper and say "hell yeah."

Most spray paints by duplicolr are an Acrylic Enamel.
