It's a local shop that has done really good work for me. They're prepping it, but they estimated me for all new "Grand Prix GT" badges because they couldn't guarantee that they could get them off without breaking them. If I get them off cleanly beforehand, I can save paying for new ones. Also, only "Grand Prix" badges are still available at GM, the "GT" part is not, so I want to get these off cleanly so they can be re-used. They said they had to come off because if they painted over them the paint would eventually crack at the badges. I'm doing some pre-prep. I have to get into the passenger front door anyway because I have a loose spare bolt rolling around in there when I stop and accelerate, so I'll remove the door cards so I can pull the side-view mirrors so they can be properly sprayed off the car. I also have an entire OEM (used) front bumper cover and rear spoiler to replace the ones on my car which have slight damage. (The previous owner either tagged something in the front or got tagged, and several of the rear spoiler bolts somehow broke their way out of the fiberglass spoiler, so I pulled replacement front bumper and wing from a salvage yard.)
