Hey guys I'm wanting to upgrade my fogs and I want them to be projectors, as of right now the only decent option I know of is the morimoto xb led fogs but if anyone has a better or different option I would love to hear it. Thanks!

not projectors, but pilot cyberwhites NV602W aren't bad and they throw a bright beam.
You can find them on Amazon for about $45 to $50

Hmm interesting. I saw what look to be the same projectors on ijdmtoy and they seem decent but I really want to see a cutoff pic before I buy them. I emailed ijdmtoy about it so we will see if they can provide any

Just got an email back right now and they said they didn't have any pictures of the cutoff, which seems a little fishy. Who sells projectors but doesn't have a picture of the cutoff which is the whole reason of a projector

Awesome thanks! Maybe I'll try to slap those rigid floods in there. Although I'd still rather have a projector. I was trying to think of a way I could mount a mini h1 or fxr in there. Which mounting it would probably be farely easy but I would have to make some kind of case or cover for it so it was sealed.

They would fit, but that is a lot of light for our cars (no cut-off whatsoever). LOL

I was going to try and fit their SAE Dually, but went with the XB's instead.

I have a set of JW speaker 6145J's sitting on my desk that are going to be my next project.

Space is the issue. You are right about cutting up the housing, but it will still be tight.

I really like those jw speaker lights but they are pretty expensive.

I'm really just torn on what to do. I dont want to spend 200$ on xb led lights that aren't even as bright as my current led fogs but at the same time at least I could drive with them on. Currently the led bulb in my fogs are ridiculous bright and there is no way I'm enough of an a**hole to drive around the city with them on. Lol

What I can't understand is that the xb led fogs supposedly have the most lumens out of about 20 others that I've looked at but from the output they really don't look all that great. No offense bronco. Maybe they just need to be mounted further up.

We just became a dealer at work, so when we were doing a demo, I grabbed these and won't be letting go. LOL

The JW's don't spec out as good as the XB's on paper, but the images I've seen comparing the beam tells me otherwise, thus why I want to go this route.

You sound just like me after doing the XB's. Part of me says to hold out for a bit.

No offense, you are correct. I want to space them forwards, as they sit back quite far and I'm sure I'm loosing some light. Just have to wait for old man winter to fawk off so I can get to it.

Comparison of the XB and JW beams.....

    Here is my XB beam.....

My goal is to get the JW's installed and have more light close up.

Ya the only saving grace for the xb lights are I've seen them mounted on other vehicles where they sit out more and the beam pattern is crazy wide which is nice to have that light on the sides but with our grand prix until we can think up a way to space them further up we can't even get that benefit. There are some knock off ones on Amazon for 60$ that got really good reviews. If I can't find anything better maybe I'll just buy those

O ya the jw speaker one blows them away although I don't mind the v2 xb led. I wonder if trs sells the v1 or v2. I don't think they specify on their website. Bronco you have the v2 right?
