Hey guys. I am just trying to squeeze a few tenths out of the car at the track. It consistantly runs 12.0-12.3. I would like to add a little more timing or boost. I will be tuning with dhp and a wideband after the install. I just ordered the devils own progressive dvc-30 kit. I am going to be starting with the 7gph nozzle that comes with the kit. According to their site it should be close to what I need. If not I will change as needed. I also plan on running a 50/50 mix.

I have a few questions. First, has anyone here run meth using a l36 intake? Any suggestions on nozzle placement. I know t/b spacer is an option but the shape is different between the l36 and l67. It may work but I'm not sure. I am not going to be using multiple nozzles in the lower intake so thats out. I would really like to keep the stock l36 maf. Does drilling and tapping a hole in the neck of the intake close to the t/b sound like a bad idea? Thats kind of what I'm leaning toward but I would like some input.

Not sure if everyone can see my sig. 97 gt with l67 bottom end. Hx35, xp cam, 130#, 42.5.

The spacer plates look significantly different between the l36 and l67s. Everything under $100 looks to be for the l67. I drive it about an hour each way to the track so race gas would add up pretty quick. I also put some street miles to work and such.

I agree the intake does look thin and brittle. I removed it today to get a close look at it. I found a unused vac port on the throttle body I am going to try to make work. The location is good but it is a little close to the tps. The whole is also slightly larger than what I need at 3/8" the recommended drill size for the 1/8npt tap is 11/32. I will see when the kit shows up.

What nozzle are you running? Are you running 50/50 or straight meth? Thanks for the responses guys.

im on a 10gph nozzle now. Im twincharged, trying to keep the heat from the blower at bay... 50/50 mix by volume of VP M1 and distilled water.

only difference that is significant is the bore size which is not a big deal. all the other differences shouldnt matter either. the bolt hole pattern is the same. post a link to the one you are looking at.

    http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...y-Spacers.aspx. This is the l67.
http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...dy-Spacer.aspx. this is the l36. I know the pattern is the same it just looks like it would effect flow. Maybe not. I'm pretty sure I will be able to use the existing hole in the t/b. I will keep you guys posted.

are you running the L67 heads with the N/A upper intake manifold? you could use some of the injector ports to do a direct port meth or nitrous setup .

if you feel motivated enough you could swap those heads for L67 or L32 and then do a direct injection of some nitrous or methanol.

I was able to use an unused vacuum port to mount the nozzle. I opened it up so that it doesn't restrict flow much. I think it will work fine and free is always good.
