Pointless holden ones are forsale for 200 bucks on here back a few pages in the fs section just mod the top hat so the tb is on the side not the front done....... Or you could always use a f body intake.
I dont really see a sheetmetal one being worth the cost. Esp if its not essential for clearance like the 4th gen f body guys run into for example.
I like the sheet metal for the fact that you can reverse it easily when I demod someday...planning on getting a vette at some point
Because when I buy a vette I will demod my car to sell it and not pulling the lower lim again to put the sc back on is what I was talking about...common use your brain
http://stattama.com/index.cfm?fuseac...&pageid=43here there ya go a little bit of explanation would have gone a long ways lol.
Stattama makes sheetmetal intakes that only fit a supercharger lim.
I was just teasing you man...thanx that's what I was looking for
I meant that as to make a duplicate orrrrrr how about call them that would be a hell of an idea!
Geezus sorry i didnt bring my coloring crayon today...........
I looked at the ones everyone else has made and just built my own, not to hard if you have or know someone with access to welder/machine shop...if not the cost may out weigh the work involved to swap out the LIM when you demod.
Simple trace a gasket cut plate to match weld up a box drill a hole in it same size as tb opening tap a few holes for the tb.
Ohh and save about 400 bucks over the stattama price....
Edit what he said^^^^^^ what do a set of cheapo plastic lim gaskets cost? plus a na intake will flow way better than some crude box slapped on a sc lower intake!
Wow everyone is angry today...machine shop and welder is available to me so I will look into the cost of making one if it's to much hassle will use my l26 intake
I was able to obtain a Stattama intake a long time ago. I had a gutted SC with block off and the Stattama intake made a difference.
I think a custom intake will be and is the best option for flow IMO. It's a straight forward design and the air goes straight in.
Here are some pics to help give you reference if you want to make one.
Thanx man! Looks like it would be pretty simple to make
Thanks for the pictutes, Sal! That's helpful.
The l67 lower intake sucks balls
