Retainers you can use, springs you might be able to, but I don't know the spring rates. I have LS6 springs on my car with my rockers.

Might want to go at least 105's or LS6's.

    You'll need LSx retainers.

3800 retainers would have your springs compressed too much, probably result in binding.

Would the stock timing set be OK to run with the LSx springs and higher lift cam?

You are turbo charged yet don't know what supporting mods you need to run a cam?

To me that is very odd.

    "when it stops making power"

You wont find a limit so you can basically shift it whenever... Due to my gearing/tires/horsepower, i shift it high, but for most guys it wont matter much.

F7 helps because, that was one awesome run on sentence.

105's with a new timing chain/dampner will be fine.

Keep the shift points at 6200.

    Enjoy.

Whats the point of a turbo and cam if you are not going to setup the valve train properly to shift it where you should?

Cylinder pressure causes valve float, depending on the setup it could float at 4k.

Can you get away with 105s on a mild blower cam setup? YES. Can you do it with a turbo? No.

My car floats my 105s and they aren't even the crappy comps.

IF you have a turbo and an aftermarket camshaft you are only going backwards by using a poor spring rate.

I noticed that as well. Why trade your cam when your asking about mods for the Stattama ST2. Maybe he changed his mind?
