    i was looking at vids of the ls4 turbo set up and everything. i was wondering if there are any other set ups besides the cartuning turbo kit for the ls4??

    I would probably use a cartuning kit without question... it is cheap enough and works good.

    Yes, there are other turbo kits for LS4, you should join ls1tech.com, they have an LS4 section with tons of great info.

    i have seen that vid before and its awesome. but the turbo kit is 5500$.....pretty pricey lol. anything else cheaper?? i see universal t3/t4 turbo kits on ebay for like 1300$...

    there is a guy u can talk to about doing a rear mount turbo set-up, but might cost you more, also join the GMLS4 forums

    Ever think there's a reason the "universal" ebay kit is so cheap?
    04 comp G, front/rear towerbraces, pacesetters, ported sc, LIM, 3.3 pulley, 1.9 mod rockers, Ls1 springs and retainers, custom dyno tune, 180 tstat, shortned dog bones, full poly mounts, zzp shift kit, custom fwi, 28inch cherry bomb, flowmaster 40's. 290whp 380wtq before the button. coldfusion n2o, 60 shot. I haz corvette brakezand gxp cluster! smgpfc028

    Its a get what ya pay for type of situation. If they worked everyone would be running hair dryers on there gxp

    The only problem with cartuning is good luck with getting ahold of the f u c king bastard its been about a month just for an electric cutout

    true that. lol hair dryers. im thinking i might buy the ebay piping kit, get a better turbo manifold, and buy a better turbo and get the hogan dp, and be right around a grand. then install and get upgraded internals on the trans.

    keep the stock manifold theres no need for a different one, just get it ported if u really wish

    Why would you even bother with CT for an electric cutout when one can be purchased through summit racing or any other online performance place?

    see i would love a cutout.....but doesnt most of the it end up having an exhaust leak after wards???
