Setup is done, I just can't decide on the XP cam or the ST2 cam. Would the difference between the two be minimal?

Car is driven on the street and sees the track a few times a year.

Take a look at Abbott Racing's cam choices as well, great place.

XP is a stout cam choice, I loved mine...DD'd it for over 40K in all sorts of weather. I hear nothing but great things about the S1X as well, since it is more low/midrange geared vs. the XP's higher RPM powerband lovin'. You would however have to jump on a dyno to notice the differences in them IMO, as the butt dyno won't be able to really tell the two apart.

I strongly agree with nick. Abbott makes great cams. Even their n/a cam sounds amazing. And makes great power. Email then about getting a custom ground done. They charge 308 for either their normal already ground cams, or for a custom grind

When it comes to "twincharged" cars, you have to remember that the motor only knows there is a blower on there for the times the turbo is not spinning.. The correct term for "twincharged" would be more like "supercharged, then turbocharged", as it would never make boost with both the blower and turbo at the same time.

Anyway, that being said you will be in turbo boost for 95-98% of the time you are making horsepower, so a turbo cam is the only thing you would ever need, and a ST5 turbo cam is the only turbo cam you would want to have. If for some reason you still want a ST2, ill sell you mine and Ill upgrade to a ST5.

Friend Alex daily drives his ST5 turbo car and it runs just fine. Sounds sick as hell too with a turbo and open downpipe. Nice and quiet.

ST5 turbo cam's are designed with a very wide powerband and have lots of lobe separation...they are boring, non-choppy cams.
