Here is the run down.
I got the car finished friday night and drove it from Toronto to oakville (55miles) with open downpipe at 4am... charge pipe popped off so i had no boost but the turbo sounded incredible.. I had no short 8rib belt so i had no blower hooked up either... (low compression car was sloooo) lol
slept in my car at JPG exhaust, and got the downpipe connected in am

Saturday... got a supercharger belt and nearly pooped my pants when i felt the instant torque come back and when I heard the sound of both cars!! was amazing
any way, long story short.. i was love drunk and kept playing with the car (had wideband, scanner and was all good) a bit of KR (up to 6*) but that's cuz i tried Shell 91 octane and was not fully tuned for turbo addition..
Never took the car past 4,000 rpm it was acting funny and cutting out there from the start.. (wastegate opening? spark issues, incorrectly routed vac lines for BOV, wg etc)
Later in the day..
i had the #1 spark plug boot come off (zzp wires...sigh) and it was layin on the manifold sparking out and car was missing...
pulled over and found spark plug loose itself, then i noticed the electrode was bent down... anyway.. it then developed a rod- knocking noise while i was on the side of the road... one start up it dissapeared, then returned and smoke was coming out the crank case.
possibly chunked #1 piston, pretty sure i spun a rod bearing and the reason is.....
I put in ****t 10w30 oil as my "flushing oil" since i had both head gaskets and lim changed due to hydrolocing issue last fall and coolant in oil etc)
well, im pretty sure the big mistake was in the order of operations (BEDMAS??) i drained the oil and then replaced my head gaskets, then topped up oil. (meaning there was likely up to a half litre or more of coolant in the oil pan when i first started it? )
I was suppose to drain it after running it for a bit but I forgot this step as i was too excited and tired (4am) to get the car to oakville.

Car is now in good hands, having an L26 dropped in and taking off the supercharger since its easier to find l26 than l32 motor with low mileage.
i really wanted to keep both and it sounds soo cool.. but oh well.. i will sure miss the blower.
Spent too much time working on this car and not enough time being promiscuous with the ladies... because of this, I have decided to outsource the swap to india... lol jk - Kuntzie's Auto
Looking forward to a low mileage L26 turbo setup. Pretty much came down to parking the car till next season (tired of wrenching) or paying someone to fix it. I'm confident he will do a good job and if he doesnt.... I will post up pictures haha
