Their inter-cooler's are just as expensive. I think alot of mods for our cars are high. I look for deals on the interwebs.

If you can Tig or Mig weld you can make all the piping yourself and save a butt load of cash. It also allows you to build your kit off your choice of turbo i.e flanges, on center, outlet sizes etc. For the I/C there are loads of options and cold piping well ebay is your best friend. Pipe kits go for sub $100.

Anyways good luck with your setup bro!

Mini, do you by any chance have a TOGs crossover template? My Crossover is damaged and honestly is causing some serious restriction. If you can make me a crossover pipe I would seriously buy one.

    Thanks

No one else makes them, zzp could charge whatever they want. The crossover is also only $250 unless you want the version with the wastegate on it. You could easily go open dump wastegate and run a 2.5" downpipe, which would equal out to your typical 3" downpipe setup.

What type of steel are you using? Your going to want the smaller brake booster for a 3" dp as well.

Yea, I'm thinking of hitting one of the local sheet metal shops and seeing what they can do. I'm sure if I give them my crossover that is bent, they should be able to remake one for the correct size.

How loud would an open dump wastegate be? It's got to be pretty insane consider those open wastegates are extremely loud on the DSMs.

    How so?

and open dump isn't too loud. No where near a 4g63. Then again depends on the wg you get too.

In an open dump setup, your not returning the exhaust gas or pressures to the downpipe. So the downpipe turns into more like 2.5" downpipe + size of wastegate. It's also better at keeping a consistent psi. The only thing you have to deal with is the noise, which isn't too bad.

I understand where you are getting the idea but how do you equate running a open dump wg to relieving .5" of space from a 3" dp?

I just described that above, but you can ask Matt M for details, he's the one who came up with that logic.

    1. The $250 crossover is a retarded design. 2. Im going 3" dp, not open dump.

What design are you going with if I may ask?
