After getting the transmission back together , it was finally time to hit the track up to test out the new suspension/transmission. Last year the car ran best of 11.64@122 with stock suspension and 1.90 60' foot. I went and got ZZP coil overs all around and upgraded to f-body brakes to hold boost on the line. First hit of the year the car goes 11.63@122 with 1.90 60' foot again. So next pass I left with more boost and ended up with 11.46@122. Knowing this the next pass was prob going to be it for the night I wanted to make the best out of it. The car built 5psi at the line and cut a 1.76 60' foot and ran 11.35@122. All runs were on 20-21 psi . Car is a full weight 1999 GTP. I'm still only running a 2.5" down pipe off the back of the turbo into a 2.5" slp exhaust. Car dynoed 430whp on a dyno jet. Car is tuned by snowflake. A big thanks to nick for tuning the car , always giving advice and helping me all the time , definitely appreciated. I'm over all happy how the car run and hope to hit the track up again soon

That's awesome! Do you have a cage, and if you don't did the people there say anything?

I don't think you need a cage until you get into the 10's, but could be wrong.

Great runs! Time to put it on a diet and take another run at it.

Are you speed limited? 122MPH every time is pretty nicely consistent.

Tbh idk why it's always 122. I know I can prob shift higher than 6k. I have 150# springs , st3 cam / heads. Wonder if shifting at 6500 would maybe make it go a bit faster / more mph ?

I'd set the shift points at 6500~.

I used to pick up MPH and backhalf always seemed stronger after the cam swap.

I'm sure the same would apply to you.

Yeah we did set them to 6500. Only saw 1mph increase , I think the 2.5" turbo downpipe has alittle to do with that aswell. Hoping to get it in the 10s this week. And thank you , I'm impressed with the car

    Sounds like the restriction there.

    I'd upgrade to a 3" downpipe/3" catback.

You're at the power level where it will actually make a difference, unlike most of the blower guys.
